ведь де́ти э́того ми́ра сообрази́тельнее в дела́х с себе́ подо́бными,
[because, after all, indeed] children this [of the world, peace, world] smarter [at, in, of, on] [affair, business, cases] [and, from, in, of, with] [himself, myself, thyself, to myself, yourself] similar,
чём де́ти све́та.
[how, than, what, whence, which, why] children light.
The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness.
For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.
