оставшись с Иису́сом наедине́,

оставшись [and, from, in, of, with] Jesus [alone, in private],

ученики́ спроси́ли:

[students, disciples] [asked, they asked]:

–Почему́ же мы не смогли́ изгна́ть его́?

–Why [but, same, then] [we, we are] [never, not] [could, they could] [banish, expel] [his, him, it]?

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said,
“Why could we not cast it out?”
