43 Вот я стою у исто́чника:

43 [Behold, Here, There] i [i am standing, stand, standing] [at, by, with, of] [fountain, source, the source, well]:

е́сли де́вушка вы́йдет начерпать воды,

[if, a, when, unless] [girl, woman, young woman] [will come out, get out] начерпать [lake, water, waters],

и я скажу́ ей:

and i [i will say, say, tell] her:

„Пожа́луйста,

„Please,

дай мне попить воды из твоего́ кувши́на“,

give [me, to me] попить [lake, water, waters] [from, in, of, out] [thy, your] [jug, pitcher, the jug]“,

behold,
I am standing by the spring of water.
Let the virgin who comes out to draw water,
to whom I shall say,
“Please give me a little water from your jar to drink,”

Behold,
I stand by the well of water;
and it shall come to pass,
that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water,

Give me,
