Genesis 38:23 NRT

23 Иу́да сказа́л:

23 Judas [he said, said, say, saying, tell]:

–Пусть оста́вит себе́ то,

–Let [leave, to leave, will leave] [himself, myself, thyself, to myself, yourself] that,

что взяла́,

[what, that, why] [taken, took],

ина́че мы ста́нем посмешищем.

otherwise [we, we are] [let us become, we will become] посмешищем.

Я ведь посыла́л ей козлёнка,

I [because, after all, indeed] sent her [goat, goat kid, kid],

но ты её не нашёл.

[but, yet] you her [never, not] found.

And Judah replied,
“Let her keep the things as her own,
or we shall be laughed at.
You see,
I sent this young goat,
and you did not find her.”
