Mark 15:15 NRT

15 Пила́т,

15 Pilate,

что́бы удовлетворить толпу́,

[to, so that, in order to, because of] удовлетворить [crowd, multitude, the crowd],

освободи́л им Вара́вву,

released [it, them] Barabbas,

а Иису́са отда́л на распя́тие,

[while, and, but] Jesus gave [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [crucifix, crucifixion],

приказа́в сперва́ бичева́ть Его́.

[commanded, having ordered, ordered, orders] first [chastise, flogged, flogging, punish, scourge, scourged, scourging] [His, Him, It].

So Pilate,
wishing to satisfy the crowd,
released for them Barabbas,
and having scourged Jesus,
he delivered him to be crucified.

And so Pilate,
willing to content the people,
released Barabbas unto them,
and delivered Jesus,
when he had scourged him,
to be crucified.
