Luke 6:48 NRT
48 He [looks like, similar] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [builder, the builder] houses,
[which, which the, who] [dug out, dug up, excavate] [deep, profound] [ditch, excavation, foundation pit, the pit, trench] and [establish, laid down, pawned] foundation [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [rock, stone].
When [it happened, happened] [deluge, flood, inundation] and [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [dwelling, home, house] collapsed [river, stream],
[she, she is] [never, not] [shake, shaken, staggered] [his, him, it],
[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] he [be, to be, was, were] [firmly, solidly, strongly, tight] built. |
he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. Luke 6:48 ESV
He is like a man which built an house,
and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6:48 KJV |
Luke 14:29 NRT
29 [Because, After All, Indeed] [if, a, when, unless] he (will lay) foundation and [will be, would be] [never, not] [at, in, of, on] able [finish, to finish] construction,
that [all, any, every, everybody, everyone] [seers, see] [that, this, it] [will, be] above him [laugh, laughed, mock]: |
Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, Luke 14:29 ESV
Lest haply,
after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Luke 14:29 KJV |
