Святою

34 незаму́жняя забо́тится о Госпо́днем,

34 unmarried cares about Lord's,

как угоди́ть Го́споду,

[how, what, as, like (comparison)] [please, to please] [Lord, To The Lord],

что́бы быть свято́ю и те́лом и ду́хом;

[to, so that, in order to, because of] [be, become, been, has been, to be, to become] святою and [body, with the body] and [spirit, the spirit];

а заму́жняя забо́тится о мирско́м,

[while, and, but] married cares about mundane,

как угоди́ть му́жу.

[how, what, as, like (comparison)] [please, to please] husband.

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin.
The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord,
that she may be holy both in body and in spirit:
but she that is married careth for the things of the world,
how she may please her husband.
