13 and spoke Ephron [aloud, loud, out loud] [people, the people] [earth, land] that and [he said, said, say, saying, tell]:
е́сли послушаешь,
[if, a, when, unless] послушаешь,
я даю́ тебе́ за по́ле серебро́;
i [give, i give] [thee, you] [after, around, at, behind, over] field [money, silver, silverware];
возьми́ у меня́,
[get, take] [at, by, with, of] [i, me, self],
и я похороню там уме́ршую мою.
and i похороню there [dead, deceased, the deceased] [my, mine].
And he said to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land,
“But if you will,
hear me:
I give the price of the field.
Accept it from me,
that I may bury my dead there.”

But if thou wilt give it,
I pray thee,
hear me:
I will give thee money for the field;
take it of me,
and I will bury my dead there.

и отве́сил Авраа́м Ефрону серебра́,
and (he weighed it out) Abraham Ephron silver,
ско́лько он объяви́л вслух сыно́в Хетовых,
[how, how many, how much] he [announced, confessed, told] [aloud, loud, out loud] [children, sons] [Heth, Hit],
четы́реста си́клей серебра́,
(four hundred) [shekels, sickle] silver,
како́е хо́дит у купцо́в.

Abraham listened to Ephron,
and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver that he had named in the hearing of the Hittites,
four hundred shekels of silver,
according to the weights current among the merchants.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron;
and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver,
which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth,
four hundred shekels of silver,
current money with the merchant.
