42 Во́ины согласи́лись бы́ло умертви́ть у́зников,

42 [Soldiers, Warriors] [agreed, covenanted] [it was, was] [kill, slay, to kill] prisoners,

что́бы кто-нибу́дь,

[to, so that, in order to, because of] anyone,

выплыв,

не убежа́л.

[never, not] (ran away).

And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners,
lest any of them should swim out,
and escape.
