Mark 6:14 RUSV
14 Царь И́род,
14 King Herod,
услы́шав [об Иису́се],
[having heard, heard, hearing] [about Jesus],
--и́бо и́мя Его́ ста́ло гласно,
--[for, because] name [His, Him, It] [became, it became] гласно,
--говори́л:
--spoke:
э́то Иоа́нн Крести́тель воскре́с из мёртвых,
[that, this, it] John [Baptist, The Baptist] resurrected [from, in, of, out] [dead, the dead],
и потому́ чудеса́ де́лаются им.
and [because, that is why, therefore] miracles [are being done, they are being made] [it, them]. |
King Herod heard of it, for Jesus' name had become known. Some said, “John the Baptist has been raised from the dead. That is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” Mark 6:14 ESV
And king Herod heard of him;
(for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him. Mark 6:14 KJV |
