Желаемое

13 Поду́л ю́жный ве́тер,

13 Blew [south, southern] wind,

и они́,

and [they, they are],

подумав,

что уже́ получи́ли желаемое,

[what, that, why] already [got, received] желаемое,

отпра́вились,

[departed, set off, we went],

и поплы́ли побли́зости Кри́та.

and [sailed, swam, we sailed, we swam] nearby Crete.

And when the south wind blew softly,
supposing that they had obtained their purpose,
loosing thence,
they sailed close by Crete.
