4 Они́ бы́ли ещё недалеко́ от города,

когда́ Ио́сиф сказа́л управляющему:

when Joseph [he said, said, say, saying, tell] управляющему:

–Неме́дленно отправляйся в погоню за э́тими людьми́ и,

–Immediately отправляйся [at, in, of, on] погоню [after, around, at, behind, over] these people and,

когда́ догонишь,

when догонишь,

скажи́ им:

[say, tell] [it, them]:

«Почему́ вы заплатили злом за добро́?

«Why [ye, you] заплатили злом [after, around, at, behind, over] [good, goodness, kindness]?

They had gone only a short distance from the city.
Now Joseph said to his steward,
“Up,
follow after the men,
and when you overtake them,
say to them,
‘Why have you repaid evil for good?

ступа́й,

догоняй э́тих люде́й и,

догоняй these [human, of people, people] and,

для чего́ вы заплатили злом за добро́?
