2 Там он уви́дел коло́дец в по́ле и во́зле него́ три ота́ры ове́ц,

2 There he [had seen, saw, seeing, seen, seeth] well [at, in, of, on] field and near him three flocks sheep,

потому́ что из того́ коло́дца пои́ли скот.

[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [from, in, of, out] that wells drinking [cattle, livestock].

Коло́дец был закрыт большим камнем.

Well [be, to be, was, were] закрыт [big, huge, large] камнем.

As he looked,
he saw a well in the field,
and behold,
three flocks of sheep lying beside it,
for out of that well the flocks were watered.
The stone on the well's mouth was large,

there were three flocks of sheep lying by it;
for out of that well they watered the flocks:
