12 То на у́лице,

12 That [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [road, street],

то на площадя́х,

that [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] squares,

и у ка́ждого угла́ стро́ит она́ ковы.

and [at, by, with, of] [everyone, whosoever] [angle, corner, nook] builds [she, she is] ковы.

Now is she without,
now in the streets,
and lieth in wait at every corner.)
