Genesis 30:38 RUSV
38 и положи́л прутья с нарезкою пе́ред ското́м в водопойных коры́тах,
38 and put прутья [and, from, in, of, with] нарезкою before cattle [at, in, of, on] водопойных troughs,
куда́ скот приходи́л пить,
[to where, where to] [cattle, livestock] came [drink, thirsty],
и где,
and [somewhere, where, wherever],
приходя́ пить,
coming [drink, thirsty],
зачина́л пред пру́тьями.
[conceive, conceived] [before, front] (with rods). |
He set the sticks that he had peeled in front of the flocks in the troughs, that is, the watering places, where the flocks came to drink. And since they bred when they came to drink, Genesis 30:38 ESV
And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink,

41 Ка́ждый раз,
41 [Each, Every] [once, time],
когда́ зачина́л скот кре́пкий,
when [conceive, conceived] [cattle, livestock] strong,
Иа́ков клал прутья в коры́тах пред глаза́ми скота́,
[Jacob, James] [lay, put] прутья [at, in, of, on] troughs [before, front] [eyes, through the eyes] [cattle, livestock],
что́бы он зачина́л пред пру́тьями.
[to, so that, in order to, because of] he [conceive, conceived] [before, front] (with rods). |
Whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, Jacob would lay the sticks in the troughs before the eyes of the flock, that they might breed among the sticks, Genesis 30:41 ESV
And it came to pass,
whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. Genesis 30:41 KJV |
