35 Когда́ же он был на лестнице,
35 When [but, same, then] he [be, to be, was, were] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] лестнице,
то во́инам пришлось нести́ его́ по причи́не стеснения от наро́да,
that [fighters, soldiers, to the warriors, warriors] пришлось [carry, wear, sustain, take up] [his, him, it] [along, by, in, on, to, unto] [cause, reason] стеснения from [people, the people], |
And when he came upon the stairs,

Paul,
сто́я на лестнице,

дал знак руко́ю наро́ду;

и,
and,
когда́ сде́лалось глубо́кое молчание,

на́чал говори́ть на евре́йском языке́ так:
