бы́вшие с Па́влом узна́ли,

former [and, from, in, of, with] [By Paul, Paul, Paulus, Pavel] [found out, known, learned],

что остро́в называ́ется Мелит.

[what, that, why] [island, isle] called Мелит.

And when they were escaped,
