18 Ита́к,

18 [So, Therefore],

кого́ хо́чет,

[that, who, whom] wants,

милует;

а кого́ хо́чет,

[while, and, but] [that, who, whom] wants,

ожесточа́ет.

(it hardens).

Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy,
and whom he will he hardeneth.
