Надежде

20 Потому́ что тварь покорилась суете не доброво́льно,

20 [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [what, that, why] [creation, creature] покорилась суете [never, not] voluntarily,

но по воле покорившего её,

[but, yet] [along, by, in, on, to, unto] [bullock, will] покорившего her,

в надежде,

[at, in, of, on] надежде,

For the creature was made subject to vanity,
not willingly,
but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

24 И́бо мы спасены́ в надежде.

Наде́жда же,

Hope [but, same, then],

когда́ ви́дит,

when [he sees, saw, sees, seeth],

не есть наде́жда;

[never, not] [there are, there is] hope;

и́бо е́сли кто ви́дит,

[for, because] [if, a, when, unless] who [he sees, saw, sees, seeth],

то чего́ ему́ и наде́яться?

that what [him, it, to him] and hope?

For we are saved by hope:
but hope that is seen is not hope:
for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for?
