3 И сказа́ли друг дру́гу:
3 And [said, say, tell, they said] friend friend:
наделаем кирпичей и обожжём огнём.
наделаем кирпичей and [burn, let us burn it, we will burn it] [by fire, fire, flame].
И ста́ли у них кирпичи́ вме́сто камне́й,
And [be, become, get] [at, by, with, of] [them, they] bricks (instead of) [rocks, stones],
а земляная смола вме́сто извести.
[while, and, but] земляная [pitch, resin] (instead of) lime. |
And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Genesis 11:3 ESV
