25 Он был наста́влен в начатках пути́ Госпо́дня и,
25 He [be, to be, was, were] [instructed, mentored] [at, in, of, on] начатках [ways, path, road] Lord's and,
горя ду́хом,
[grief, hot] [spirit, the spirit],
говори́л и учи́л о Го́споде пра́вильно,
spoke and [learned, taught, teaching] about [Lord, The Lord] correctly,
зна́я то́лько креще́ние Иоа́нново.
[knew, knowing] [alone, only, just] [baptism, christening, epiphany] [John, John's]. |
This man was instructed in the way of the Lord;
and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. Acts 18:25 KJV |
