3 и поутру́:

3 and [in the morning, morning]:

сего́дня ненастье,

today ненастье,

потому́ что не́бо багрово.

[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] [heaven, heavens, sky] багрово.

Лицеме́ры!

Hypocrites!

различать лице́ не́ба вы уме́ете,

различать [face, individual, person] [heaven, sky] [ye, you] [can you, could, do you know how?],

а знамений времён не мо́жете.

[while, and, but] signs [time, times] [never, not] [be able to, can, you can].

And in the morning,
‘It will be stormy today,
for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky,
but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

It will be foul weather to day:
for the sky is red and lowering.
O ye hypocrites,
ye can discern the face of the sky;
but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
