е́сли слух об э́том дойдёт до прави́теля,

[if, a, when, unless] [hearing, rumor, rumour] about this [come, it will come] [before, until] [ruler, the ruler],

мы убедим его́,

[we, we are] убедим [his, him, it],

и вас от неприятности изба́вим.

and you from неприятности [we will spare you, let us get rid of it].

And if this comes to the governor's ears,
we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”
