Обручении

18 Рождество́ Иису́са Христа́ бы́ло так:

18 Christmas Jesus Christ [it was, was] so:

по обручении Ма́тери Его́ Мари́и с Ио́сифом,

[along, by, in, on, to, unto] обручении [Mother, Mother's, Mothers] [His, Him, It] [Maria, Mary] [and, from, in, of, with] Joseph,

пре́жде не́жели сочетались они́,

before (rather than) сочетались [they, they are],

оказа́лось,

[behold, it turned out],

что Она́ име́ет во чре́ве от Ду́ха Святаго.

[what, that, why] [She, She Is] [has, it has] in [the womb, womb] from Spirit Holy.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way.
When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:
When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph,
before they came together,
she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
