Обычаев

17 Че́рез три дня Па́вел созва́л знатнейших из Иуде́ев и,

17 [Across, By Way Of, Through] three [days, of the day] Paul [assembling, convened, gathered] знатнейших [from, in, of, out] Jews and,

когда́ они́ сошли́сь,

when [they, they are] [agreed, got together],

говори́л им:

spoke [it, them]:

мужи бра́тия!

[husbands, men] [brethren, brothers]!

не сде́лав ничего́ про́тив наро́да и́ли отеческих обычаев,

[never, not] (having done) [anything, nothing, never mind] against [people, the people] or отеческих обычаев,

я в у́зах из Иерусали́ма пре́дан в руки Римлян.

i [at, in, of, on] bonds [from, in, of, out] Jerusalem [betrayed, delivered] [at, in, of, on] [arms, hand, hands] Римлян.

And it came to pass,
that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together:
and when they were come together,
he said unto them,
Men and brethren,
though I have committed nothing against the people,
or customs of our fathers,
yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
