Оковах

5 Как засвиде́тельствует о мне первосвяще́нник и все старе́йшины,

5 [How, What, As, Like (comparison)] (will testify) about [me, to me] (high priest) and [all, any, every, everybody, everyone] elders,

от кото́рых и письма взяв к бра́тиям,

from which and letters [by taking, taking, took] [to, for, by] [brothers, to the brothers],

живу́щим в Дама́ске,

[indwelling, living] [at, in, of, on] Damascus,

я шёл,

i walked,

что́бы тамошних привести́ в оковах в Иерусали́м на истязание.

[to, so that, in order to, because of] тамошних lead [at, in, of, on] оковах [at, in, of, on] Jerusalem [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] истязание.

As also the high priest doth bear me witness,
and all the estate of the elders:
from whom also I received letters unto the brethren,
and went to Damascus,
to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem,
for to be punished.
