5 Тогда́ Са́ра сказа́ла Авра́му:

5 Then Sarah ((she) said) Abram:

–Ты в ответе за то,

–You [at, in, of, on] ответе [after, around, at, behind, over] that,

что я терплю обиду.

[what, that, why] i терплю обиду.

Я отдала́ служа́нку тебе́ на ложе,

I [gave, gave it away, i gave it away] [maid, the maid] [thee, you] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] ложе,

а тепе́рь она́ зна́ет,

[while, and, but] now [she, she is] knows,

что бере́менна,

[what, that, why] pregnant,

и презирает меня́.

and презирает [i, me, self].

Пусть нас с тобо́й рассу́дит Госпо́дь.

Let [us, we] [and, from, in, of, with] you judge Lord.

And Sarai said to Abram,
“May the wrong done to me be on you!
I gave my servant to your embrace,
and when she saw that she had conceived,
she looked on me with contempt.
May the Lord judge between you and me!”

And Sarai said unto Abram,
My wrong be upon thee:
I have given my maid into thy bosom;
and when she saw that she had conceived,
I was despised in her eyes:
the LORD judge between me and thee.
