8 И дал ему́ заве́т обрезания.

8 And gave [him, it, to him] [covenant, testament, the covenant] [circumcise, circumcised, circumcising, circumcision].

По сём роди́л он Исаа́ка и обрезал его́ в восьмо́й день;

[Along, By, In, On, To, Unto] [this, same] (gave birth) he Isaac and [cut it off, cut off] [his, him, it] [at, in, of, on] [eighth, the eighth] day;

а Исаа́к роди́л Иа́кова,

[while, and, but] Isaac (gave birth) [Jacob, James],

Иа́ков же —— двена́дцать патриархов.

[Jacob, James] [but, same, then] —— twelve патриархов.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision:
and so Abraham begat Isaac,
and circumcised him the eighth day;
and Isaac begat Jacob;
and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.
