сказа́в:

не зна́ю и не понима́ю,

[never, not] [i know, know] and [never, not] (i understand),

что ты говори́шь.

[what, that, why] you (you say).

И вы́шел вон на передний двор;

And [came, came out] out [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] передний [yard, courtyard];

и запе́л пету́х.

and [crowed, sang, sing] [cock, rooster].

But he denied it,

“I neither know nor understand what you mean.”
