20 И когда́ проливалась кровь Стефа́на,
20 And when [it was pouring out, spilled] blood Stephen,
свиде́теля Твоего́,
[the witness, witness] [Thy, Your],
я там стоя́л,
i there [i was standing, standing, stood],
одобря́л убие́ние его́ и стерёг оде́жды побива́вших его́».
[approved, consenting] [killing, murder] [his, him, it] and [guard, guardian, the guardian] [clothes, coats, tunics] (those who beat) [his, him, it]».

And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed,
I also was standing by,
and consenting unto his death,
and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
