5 Свет све́тит во тьме,

5 Light [it is shining, shines, shineth, shining] [in, on] darkness,

и тьма не поглоти́ла Его́.

and [dark, darkness] [never, not] [swallowed up, absorbed, overwhelmed] [His, Him, It].

The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.
