поско́льку и́мя Иису́са станови́лось все бо́лее изве́стным,
[because the, since, whereas] name Jesus [became, it became, it was getting] [all, any, every, everybody, everyone] [above, greater, more, over] [famous, known],
и не́которые говори́ли:
and some [they said, we talked]:
Э́то Иоа́нн Крести́тель воскре́с из мёртвых,
[That, This, It] John [Baptist, The Baptist] resurrected [from, in, of, out] [dead, the dead],
и поэ́тому в Нем така́я чудоде́йственная си́ла.
and [that is why, therefore, wherefore] [at, in, of, on] [Dumb, Him, Mute, Speechless] such miraculous [energy, force, power, strength].
King Herod heard of it,
for Jesus' name had become known.
Some said,
“John the Baptist has been raised from the dead.
That is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.”
