12 но говорю́ вам,

12 [but, yet] [i am talking, say, talking, tell] [to you, ye, you],

что Илия́ уже́ пришёл,

[what, that, why] [Or Me, Elijah] already [arrive, came, come],

и не узна́ли его́,

and [never, not] [found out, known, learned] [his, him, it],

а поступи́ли с ним,

[while, and, but] [come, received] [and, from, in, of, with] him,

как хоте́ли;

[how, what, as, like (comparison)] [they wanted, wanted];

так и Сын Челове́ческий пострадает от них.

so and Son [Human, Man] пострадает from [them, they].

But I tell you that Elijah has already come,
and they did not recognize him,
but did to him whatever they pleased.
So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”

But I say unto you,
That Elias is come already,
and they knew him not,
but have done unto him whatsoever they listed.
Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
