9 Лу́чше жить в углу́ на кро́вле,

не́жели со сварли́вою жено́ю в простра́нном до́ме.
(rather than) [after, with] grumpy [my wife, wife] [at, in, of, on] [extensive, spacious, wide] [home, house]. |
It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop,
