встав,
[arose, get up, rose up, standing up],
сказа́л им:
[he said, said, say, saying, tell] [it, them]:
мужи бра́тия!
[husbands, men] [brethren, brothers]!
вы зна́ете,
[ye, you] [know, you know],
что Бог от дней пе́рвых избра́л из нас меня́,
[what, that, why] God from days [first, the first] [choose, chose, chosen, elected, i chose] [from, in, of, out] [us, we] [i, me, self],
что́бы из уст мои́х язы́чники услы́шали сло́во Ева́нгелия и уве́ровали;
[to, so that, in order to, because of] [from, in, of, out] [lips, mouth] [mine, my, of mine] pagans heard [saying, the word, word] [Gospels, The Gospels] and [believed, they believed]; |
And when there had been much disputing,
Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. Acts 15:7 KJV |
