3 Они́ сказа́ли друг дру́гу:

–Дава́йте сде́лаем кирпичи́ и обожжем их полу́чше.

–(Let Us) [let us do it, will do] bricks and обожжем [them, their] better.

Кирпичи́ у них бы́ли вме́сто ка́мня и смола вме́сто известкового раствора.

Bricks [at, by, with, of] [them, they] [been, has been, were] (instead of) [rock, stone, stone's] and смола (instead of) известкового раствора.

And they said to one another,
“Come,
let us make bricks,
and burn them thoroughly.”
And they had brick for stone,
and bitumen for mortar.
