17 [So, Therefore],

ве́ра —— от слышания,

[belief, faith] —— [by, from, of] hearings,

а слышание —— от слова Божия.

[while, and, but] hearing —— [by, from, of] [speech, the words, word, words] [God, God's].

So then faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.
