Совершаются

2 Когда́ наступи́ла суббо́та,

2 When [come, has arrived, it has come] [saturday, sabbath],

Он на́чал учи́ть в синаго́ге;

He [began, start] [learn, speaking, taught, teach, teaching] [at, in, of, on] [synagogue, the synagogue];

и мно́гие слы́шавшие с изумле́нием говори́ли:

and many [heard, those who heard] [and, from, in, of, with] [amazement, astonishment, with amazement] [they said, we talked]:

отку́да у Него́ э́то?

[whence, where, where from] [at, by, with, of] Him [that, this, it]?

что за прему́дрость дана́ Ему́,

[what, that, why] [after, around, at, behind, over] wisdom dana [Him, It, To Him],

и как таки́е чудеса́ совершаются рука́ми Его́?

and [how, what, as, like (comparison)] such miracles совершаются hands [His, Him, It]?

And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue,
and many who heard him were astonished,
saying,
“Where did this man get these things?
What is the wisdom given to him?
How are such mighty works done by his hands?
