5 Не потому́,
5 [Never, Not] [because, that is why, therefore],
что́бы мы са́ми способны бы́ли помыслить что от себя́,
[to, so that, in order to, because of] [we, we are] [themselves, yourselves] способны [been, has been, were] помыслить [what, that, why] from [itself, myself, yourself],
как бы от себя́,
[how, what, as, like (comparison)] would from [itself, myself, yourself],
но спосо́бность на́ша от Бо́га.
[but, yet] ability our from God. |
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;

6 Он дал нам спосо́бность быть служи́телями Но́вого Заве́та,
6 He gave [to us, us] ability [be, become, been, has been, to be, to become] [ministers, servants] [New, Recent] [Covenant, Testament, The Covenant],
не буквы,
[never, not] буквы,
но ду́ха,
[but, yet] spirit,
потому́ что бу́ква убива́ет,
[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] letter [kills, murder, slaughter],
а дух животвори́т.
[while, and, but] spirit (gives life). |
