42 И как уже́ наста́л ве́чер,
42 And [how, what, as, like (comparison)] already [come, has come, it is time] evening,
--потому́ что была́ пя́тница,
--[because, that is why, therefore] [what, that, why] was friday,
то есть [день] пе́ред субботою,
that [there are, there is] [day] before субботою,
