17 И́бо,
17 [For, Because],
хотя́ и я проси́л его́,
[although, though] and i [asked, begged, requested] [his, him, it],
впро́чем он,
[however, nevertheless] he,
бу́дучи о́чень усерден,
being [greatly, highly, very] усерден,
пошёл к вам доброво́льно.
[gone, went] [to, for, by] [to you, ye, you] voluntarily. |
For indeed he accepted the exhortation;
