12 А как пристань не была́ приспосо́блена к зимо́вке,
12 [While, And, But] [how, what, as, like (comparison)] marina [never, not] was adapted [to, for, by] wintering,
то мно́гие дава́ли сове́т отпра́виться отту́да,
that many [gave, they gave] [advice, council] [go, start] (from there),
что́бы,
[to, so that, in order to, because of],
е́сли мо́жно,
[if, a, when, unless] [can, may],
дойти́ до Фи́ника,
reach [before, until] [Date, Dates],
при́стани Кри́тской,
marinas Crete,
лежа́щей про́тив юго-за́падного и северо-западного ве́тра,
(lying down) against [south west, southwest] and northwest [wind, winds],
и там перезимовать.

And because the haven was not commodious to winter in,
the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west. Acts 27:12 KJV |
