25 Но когда́ растянули его́ ремня́ми,

25 [But, Yet] when stretched [his, him, it] ремнями,

Па́вел сказа́л стоявшему со́тнику:

Paul [he said, said, saith, say, saying, tell] [standing, to the one who was standing] [centurion, to the centurion]:

ра́зве вам позво́лено бичева́ть Ри́мского граждани́на,

[is, perhaps, really] [to you, ye, you] [allowed, lawful] [chastise, flogged, flogging, punish, scourge, scourged, scourging] Римского citizen,

да и без суда́?

yes and without [ships, judgment]?

And as they bound him with thongs,
Paul said unto the centurion that stood by,
Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman,
and uncondemned?
