20 Где мудре́ц?
20 [Somewhere, Where, Wherever] [sage, the sage, wise man]?
где кни́жник?
[somewhere, where, wherever] (the scribe)?
где совопросник века сего́?
[somewhere, where, wherever] совопросник [century, centuries, age] (with his)?
Не обрати́л ли Бог му́дрость ми́ра сего́ в безумие?
[Never, Not] turned whether God wisdom [of the world, peace, world] (with his) [at, in, of, on] безумие? |
Where is the wise?
where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Corinthians 1:20 KJV |

23 А мы пропове́дуем Христа́ распя́того,
23 [While, And, But] [we, we are] [preach, we preach] Christ crucified,
для Иуде́ев собла́зн,
for Jews temptation,
а для Еллинов безумие,
[while, and, but] for [Greek, Gentiles] безумие, |
But we preach Christ crucified,

19 И́бо му́дрость ми́ра сего́ есть безумие пред Бо́гом,
19 [For, Because] wisdom [of the world, peace, world] (with his) [there are, there is] безумие [before, front] [By God, God],
как напи́сано:
[how, what, as, like (comparison)] written:
«уловляет му́дрых в лукавстве их».
«уловляет [smart, wise] [at, in, of, on] лукавстве [them, their]». |
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
