8 Кто́ приобрета́ет ра́зум,
8 Who acquires [brain, mind, the mind],
тот лю́бит душу свою́;
that [loves, loveth] [soul, the soul] [its, my, thy, your];
кто́ наблюда́ет благоразу́мие,
who watching prudence,
тот нахо́дит бла́го.
that finds [benefit, blessing, good, the benefit]. |

11 Благоразу́мие де́лает челове́ка ме́дленным на гнев,
11 Prudence does human slow [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] [anger, rage, wrath],
и сла́ва для него́ —— быть снисходительным к проступкам.
and [glory, fame] for him —— [be, become, been, has been, to be, to become] condescending [to, for, by] misdemeanors. |
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger;
