1 Достигайте любви́;

1 Достигайте love;

ревнуйте о дарах духовных,

ревнуйте about дарах духовных,

осо́бенно же о том,

[especially, particularly] [but, same, then] about [that, volume],

что́бы проро́чествовать.

[to, so that, in order to, because of] [prophesied, prophesy].

Follow after charity,
and desire spiritual gifts,
but rather that ye may prophesy.

12 Так и вы,

12 So and [ye, you],

ревнуя о дарах духовных,

ревнуя about дарах духовных,

стара́йтесь обогатиться и́ми к назида́нию це́ркви.

[try to, attempt] обогатиться [by them, them, they] [to, for, by] [edification, edify, for edification] churches.

Even so ye,
forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts,
seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
