48 И весь наро́д,
48 And [all, entire, everything, the whole, whole] [crowd, nation, people],
сшедшийся на сие́ зре́лище,
[assembled, converged] [at, by, in, it, on the, to, toward, upon] this [spectacle, the spectacle],
ви́дя происходи́вшее,
[saw, seeing] (what happened),
возвраща́лся,
[i was coming back, was returning],
би́я себя́ в грудь.
[beat, hit, punch, slap, smite, strike] [itself, myself, yourself] [at, in, of, on] [breast, chest]. |
And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts. Luke 23:48 ESV
