Кощунниками

11 Когда́ нака́зывается кощу́нник,

11 When [being punished, it is punishable, punishable, punished] [blasphemer, scorner],

просто́й де́лается му́дрым;

[ordinary, plain, simple] [done, it is being done] wise;

и когда́ вразумляется му́дрый,

and when [comes to his senses, he is coming to his senses] wise,

то он приобрета́ет зна́ние.

that he acquires knowledge.

When the scorner is punished,
the simple is made wise:
and when the wise is instructed,
he receiveth knowledge.

24 Надме́нный злоде́й —— кощу́нник и́мя ему́ —— де́йствует в пылу гордости.

The thought of foolishness is sin:
