39 Но Он сказа́л им в отве́т:
39 [But, Yet] He [he said, said, say, saying, tell] [it, them] [at, in, of, on] answer:
род лука́вый и прелюбоде́йный и́щет знамения;
[genus, species, type] [sly, the crafty one] and adulterous [looking, looking for] signs;
и знамение не да́стся ему́,
and [miracle, sign, the sign] [never, not] [given, will be given] [him, it, to him],
кро́ме знамения Ио́ны проро́ка;
[but, except, besides] signs [Jonah, Jonas] [prophet, the prophet]; |
But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. Matthew 12:39 ESV
