14 Потому́ что́ приобрете́ние её лу́чше приобретения серебра́,
14 [Because, That Is Why, Therefore] [what, that, why] [acquisition, purchase] her [better, expedient] приобретения silver,
и при́были от неё бо́льше,
and [arrived, profits] from her [again, great, more],
не́жели от зо́лота:

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver,

16 Приобрете́ние му́дрости гора́здо лу́чше зо́лота,

и приобрете́ние ра́зума предпочтительнее отборного серебра́.
and [acquisition, purchase] [mind, reason, the mind] предпочтительнее отборного silver. |
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!

The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.
